Applications Privacy Policy
Privacy information for the AutomateBetter Apps website, related inquiries, and separately authorized application functionality.
Effective date: 2026-10-12
Provider and scope
Ninth International LLC, doing business as AutomateBetter, is the provider of this Apps website ("we", "us", or "our"). Ninth International LLC is registered in New Hampshire. AutomateBetter is the trading name and public brand. Duplicate Attachment Finder is an AutomateBetter product for monday.com.
This policy covers the Apps section of automatebetter.ai and communications about our marketplace applications. The Apps website is informational. Visiting these pages does not authorize a monday.com connection, run a board scan, or cause us to download customer attachments.
This is the primary privacy policy for the Apps website and related inquiries. The website privacy policy and Cookie Policy describe other website activities. The Duplicate Attachment Finder privacy supplement adds product-specific information about account authorization and file comparison to this shared policy. Describing application functionality does not authorize processing of your platform data.
Information processed by the website today
- Requests to load pages and resources. Website delivery and resource services receive technical information associated with requests, such as an IP address, browser information, and the requested resource. Requests include the site's font resources served by Google. Delivery services may keep technical request records according to their own settings.
- Browser storage. The site stores referral and campaign information, including supplied campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers, the first page URL, and a referrer when available, in browser local storage. These records are separate from the analytics-consent handling described below. A URL you visit may contain query parameters; avoid putting sensitive information in URLs.
- Website analytics. The public site loads HubSpot's website tracking and consent tools and sends page paths to its tracking queue. The HubSpot service's configured consent settings govern its tracking and cookies; the site's own consent checks separately control inquiry-cookie context, stored article interests, and related visit attribution. When analytics consent is active, a HubSpot visitor identifier may connect browsing activity to a contact record if you identify yourself through a form. Consented article interests may be held in session storage and included with a discovery inquiry.
- Related visit attribution. If you previously visited a personalized video link in the same browser session and allow analytics, subsequent public-site page paths and visit events may be associated with that prior visit through the site's separate video-activity service. This does not connect to your monday.com account or process board attachments.
- Information you send. Email inquiries can include your name, email address, organization, message, and any information you choose to provide. If you follow a link to an existing website contact, newsletter, or scheduling service, that service processes the details you submit under its applicable notices. The discovery and newsletter forms send submitted details to HubSpot, together with the page address and title. A discovery inquiry can include supplied campaign values and the topic you request even without analytics consent. After a successful discovery submission, the scheduling widget receives your name and email as prefilled details. The Apps pages do not contain a production app registration, checkout, or attachment-upload form.
Purposes and applicable legal bases
Website and inquiry information is used to deliver pages, understand visits and referral sources, respond to questions, manage requested follow-up, troubleshoot website issues, and address misuse or applicable obligations. Where a legal basis is required, it depends on the purpose and applicable law: consent for processing that requires it, steps requested before an agreement, legitimate interests in operating the website and responding to inquiries subject to applicable protections, or a legal obligation.
Cookies and your choices
Use Cookie settings in the site footer to revisit the HubSpot consent interface. You can also manage cookies and local storage in your browser. These consent controls do not gate referral/campaign local storage, font requests, or details you choose to submit in an inquiry. Disabling analytics consent clears the site's stored article-interest list and prevents that list and the analytics visitor cookie from being attached to inquiry context. Clearing browser storage does not delete email correspondence, submitted contact records, or provider-side request records. The site's referral, campaign, and first-page local storage does not have a configured expiration in the website code; it remains until browser data is cleared or otherwise removed.
Recipients and external services
Website delivery, font delivery, analytics/contact-management, visit-attribution, and email services may receive information needed to perform those functions. HubSpot is used for website analytics, consent tooling, and the existing contact forms; Google serves font resources. Email correspondence is handled by the services used to operate our mailbox. Following an external link, including a monday.com or scheduling link, also brings you within that service's own privacy practices.
Information may be disclosed where needed to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, address abuse, establish or defend legal claims, or carry out a disclosure you request or authorize. Processing locations and provider retention settings depend on the services involved; this policy makes no promise that all processing occurs in a particular country.
Retention and deletion of website information
Retention decisions depend on the reason the information was collected, whether an inquiry or relationship remains active, the need to resolve a dispute or prevent abuse, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Browser records, analytics/contact records, technical request records, and email correspondence can have different lifecycles. This policy does not set a universal retention period or promise that every record is deleted immediately after an inquiry ends.
You can clear data stored in your own browser and request deletion of information associated with an inquiry. A request may require identity or authority checks and coordination with the relevant service provider. Records may need to be retained where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Uninstalling an app is a separate action from requesting deletion of website or email records.
Security and information you send
Safeguards must be appropriate to the type of information and its purpose. Website and email communications carry risks, and no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens, signed download URLs, or confidential customer attachments in an ordinary inquiry. Contact us first if an issue needs sample data so an appropriate method can be agreed. This policy does not assert a certification, specific encryption configuration, or an application security guarantee.
Your rights and privacy inquiries
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access or correct personal information, request deletion or portability, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a relevant supervisory authority. These rights can be subject to legal conditions and exceptions. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
For an Apps website privacy inquiry, contact support@automatebetter.ai with “Apps privacy” in the subject and enough context to identify the relevant inquiry or website activity. We may ask for information needed to verify identity or authority. Avoid sending sensitive data or credentials. Requests will be handled subject to applicable legal obligations. No app-support response-time guarantee is provided.
Application data and account authorization
Where you separately authorize application functionality, the information needed for it may include platform account or authorization information, board and item metadata, attachment metadata, file content, comparison hashes, results, and diagnostic information. Duplicate Attachment Finder's feature scope is SHA-256 comparison of authorized monday.com attachments. Website visits do not perform this attachment processing or grant access to your account.
Before you authorize application processing, the applicable disclosures must describe the permissions, processing locations and providers, storage and logging behavior, retention and deletion processes, and uninstallation handling. This website policy does not authorize an undisclosed data flow or establish a customer-data processing agreement for a separate application service. Customers retain their rights in data they control; authorization to process it must be defined for the service involved.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be reflected in an updated policy and effective date, with additional notice where required by applicable law. Disclosures for application processing must be provided before account authorization.
